KitchenAid Artisan Blender K400 Onyx Black

Designed to deliver the perfect taste. The K400 variable speed blender features a 3-part blending system that easily blends even the toughest ingredients, from kale to almonds and more. With a powerful vortex created by the ribbed jar design, a unique asymmetric blade that blends at four distinct angles, and Intelli-Speed Motor Control, which senses contents and maintains the optimal speed to power through all ingredients.Control the taste and texture with the 5-speed variable speed dial, or use the 3 Preset Recipe Programs: Ice Crush, Icy Drinks, and Smoothie. The Soft Start Feature starts the motor at a slower speed to pull food into the blade then quickly increases to the selected speed setting to avoid splatter.Choose from other colours ofKitchenAid blenders hereKITCHENAIDS EXPERTLY CRAFTED 3-PART BLENDING SYSTEM: 1.5 PEAK HP MOTOR (WITH INTELLI-SPEED), UNIQUE ASYMMETRIC BLADE AND RIBBED JARThese 3 parts work together in harmony to power through tough ingredients for smoother results and to produce perfect texture and taste. Motor horsepower for the blender motor was measured using a dynamometer, a machine that laboratories routinely use to measure the mechanical power of motors. KitchenAids1.5 peak horsepower (HP) motor reference reflects the horsepower output ofthe motor itself and not the Blenders horsepower output in the blender jar. As with any blender, the power output in the jar is not the same as the horsepower of the motor itself.Adaptive Motor and Intelli-Speed Motor ControlSenses contents and maintains the optimal speed to power through all ingredientsUnique Asymmetric Stainless Steel Blade, Sharpened and Precisely AngledBlends at 4 distinct angles to pull ingredients into the centre to power through the toughest ingredients.1.4L Ribbed Plastic JarFolds contents back onto the blades to create a powerful blending vortex to easily tackle tough ingredients.Simple Intuitive Controls:One variable 5-speed dial including pulse, 3 preset recipe programs (ice crush, icy drinks, smoothie) and self-cleaning cyclesTo blend the best-tasting creations or to control taste and texture with a range of variable speeds.1.4L New Blender Design Available in a large number of fashionable coloursTo match everyones personality and kitchen.Stable Die-Cast Metal Base and Die-Cast Metal KnobSturdy, stable, durable and easy to clean.Discover more possibilities with the blender optional accessories (sold separately) 200ml Small Batch Jar & 500ml Dual-Purpose Personal JarTo create more tastes.Includes:1.4L Graded Ribbed Plastic JarSquare jar shape with enhanced inner ribs increase the turbulence and power inside the jar.The raised inside corners force ingredients into the blending vortex and the bevelled upper corners make pouring easy.Designed and engineered to further optimize the blenders performance.Single wall jar: marked capacity is 1.4 L.Dishwasher-safeVented Solid-Seal Lid with Removable Ingredient Measuring Cap (up to 60ml)Fits securely on the jar, minimizing spills when in use.The lid is made out of silicon and is easy to remove and to clean.BPA-free cap for measuring and adding ingredients during blending.Dishwasher-safeAsymmetric Stainless Steel BladeSharpened and precisely angled to optimize power and blend performance.Blends at 4 different angles.3 mm thick hardened stainless steel blade.Dishwasher-safe3 Pre-Recipe Programs: Ice Crush, Icy Drinks, SmoothieIce crush setting:Blender runs at the optimal speed. It provides bursts of pulses from 600 RPM to 1000 RPM for 30 seconds, to allow the ice to settle into different positions and then go back to chopping at high speed.Icy drink setting:Gradually ramps up to full power to blend hard food. The blender delivers perfect ice crushing results by starting at 6000 RPM for 10 seconds, 4000 RPM for 5 seconds, 12000 RPM for 10 seconds, 16000 RPM for 5 seconds to deliver fine, ice-crush consistency.Smoothie setting:Takes the guesswork out of blending by providing the optimal time and speed needed to make delicious tasting smoothies. The blender will automatically operate at high speed of 14000 RPM for 45 seconds to tackle tough ingredients and deliver smooth, consistent results.BPA-Free TamperGoes easily through the lid to help mix ingredients and provide ultimate control. For large or ultra-thick blends.Made out of plastic and rubber.Dishwasher-safe.Many times there will be no need to use the tamper as the blender delivers excellent performance but it will provide the ultimate control over the blend. When it comes to high-speed blending, there are instances where an air pocket is formed over the blade, causing the ingredients to bridge. The tamper allows to quickly intervene and push ingredients into the blending vortex, allowing the blend to continue to optimal consistency. Large quantities, ultra-thick blends without liquid such as nut butter, hummus and sorbet, may require more tamper interaction.Specifications & Dimensions:Wattage 1200WSpeeds 5variable speeds, pulse, 3-pre-programmed and cleaning cyclesCapacity 1.4LHeight 40.1cmWidth 19.3cmDepth 22.9cmCord Length 91cmNet Weight 5.4KGShop more from theKitchenAid Onyx Black collectionand create a sleek, sophisticated statement in your kitchen.
